Chase Behringer is the Founder of Silicon Valley Social Value (SVSV), a boutique consulting firm that seeks to scale the reach of innovative non-profit start-ups and modernize the practices of legacy organizations. To face the next generation of social sector challenges and opportunities, Chase advocates that social sector leaders think like entrepreneurs. She frequently speaks on technology, innovation and disruption within the non-profit sector.
Before founding SVSV, Chase was on the management team at The Bridgespan Group (incubated by Bain & Company), the leading consultancy for global foundations and nonprofit organizations. In addition, she was a member of the leadership team at Samahope (incubated by Samasource), an award-winning social enterprise acquired by Johnson & Johnson. She has also worked as a management consultant in the for-profit sector serving venture capital and insurance clients.
Chase is particularly passionate about the future of philanthropy, including topics such as entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and mergers/acquisitions. In her spare time, you can find Chase playing soccer with her children and training her German Shepherd dog. She holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from MIT, and serves on the Boards of several non-profit organizations.
